Descriptions:
The Farley's kitchen was created by Hagerstown Kitchens of Winchester. John Stuart was the kitchen designer. The kitchen was designed with a variety of textures and special features. There are solid cherry cabinets with a Black Lamp Glaze with dentil crown moulding surrounded by dark green Uba Tuba granite countertops. A large island hood features two corbels on each side of the mantel with spice drawer pull outs on both the top and bottom cabinets. The hood houses a 48 inch stainless steel Viking range with one and a half gas ovens, 6 burners and a griddle. The hood is flanked by glass front cabinets with mullion doors. All bottom cabinets have full extension pull out shelves and drawers that have a special glide feature so that cabinets and doors cannot be slammed shut. There is an appliance cabinet that conceals the toaster, blender and other small appliances. The large island is great for prep work and features a concealed double trash bin. There is a Bosch dishwasher that is concealed with a cabinet door front and pewter door pull. A Viking ice machine is also recessed into the cabinetry that makes 30 pounds of ice per day. On the opposite wall a Sub Zero 650 refrigerator is recessed with cabinet panel door fronts with pewter door pulls. Next to it is a Viking microwave, 26 inch electric wall oven and warming drawer all in stainless steel. There is a separate bar area featuring glass cabinetry with mullion doors, granite countertops and a Viking glass door beverage refrigerator. The
ceramic floors and backsplash in the kitchen complete the look. A
variety of fine craftsmen participated in the construction of the
Farley's kitchen. Travis Eastep, an independent tile contractor,
installed the back-splash and painstakingly removed all the grout from
the tile floor and replaced it. Fred Hardt assembled and installed
the cabinets for a tight, custom fit and assisted in the appliance
installation. CGI Handy Guys installed the crown molding, built
the headers and performed a variety of other projects. |
